1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GREV platform, including the website at grev.app, the GREV desktop agent, the GREV MCP server, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

GREV LLC (“GREV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

GREV is a work visibility platform that provides:

• Desktop Agent: A lightweight application that passively tracks which applications and websites you use, along with time spent, to generate structured work data.
• Web Dashboard: A web application at grev.app where you can view, manage, and share your work data.
• MCP Server: A Model Context Protocol server that makes your work data accessible to AI assistants (such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor) with your authorization.
• Team Features: Shared feeds, team analytics, and workspace collaboration tools.
• AI Features: AI-generated summaries, work narratives, and conversational interfaces powered by your work data.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including any agent keys issued for the desktop agent. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Data Collection and Ownership

4.1 What We Collect

The GREV desktop agent collects the following data from your device: active application names and window titles, browser tab URLs and page titles, time spent in each application, timestamps of activity, and system idle and sleep states.

GREV does not capture screenshots, keystrokes, mouse movements, file contents, passwords, or any content displayed on your screen unless you explicitly enable optional premium features (such as screenshot capture) and grant the necessary permissions.

4.2 Data Ownership

You own your work data. GREV collects and processes your data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your individual work data to train AI models.

4.3 Data Sharing

Your work data is private by default. Data is only shared when you choose to:

• Share individual work blocks to your team feed
• Within your workspace to other members
• Via MCP Server when you connect it to an AI assistant
• As required by law

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse engineer any part of the Service; interfere with or disrupt the Service; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; use the Service to monitor individuals without their knowledge and consent; share your account credentials or agent keys with unauthorized parties; or use automated means to access the Service except through our published APIs and MCP server.

6. Workspaces and Team Use

Workspace administrators may invite other users to join their workspace. Each member has individual control over which work blocks they share. Workspace administrators can view shared content but cannot access private work data of individual members. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

7. MCP Server and AI Integration

The GREV MCP server enables third-party AI assistants to access your work data through the Model Context Protocol. By connecting the MCP server to an AI assistant:

• You authorize that AI assistant to query your work data through GREV's API
• The AI assistant's use of your data is subject to that assistant's own terms and privacy policy
• GREV is not responsible for how third-party AI services process or store data retrieved through the MCP server
• You can disconnect the MCP server at any time by revoking your agent key or OAuth token

8. Beta Program and Pricing

The Service is currently offered as a free beta. During the beta period, all features are available at no charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans, modify features, or change pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by GREV LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Your work data remains your property. By using the Service, you grant GREV a limited, non-exclusive license to process and display your data solely to provide the Service.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. GREV does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Time tracking and application detection are approximations based on system-level APIs and may not reflect exact usage.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREV LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. GREV'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO GREV IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your access for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, we will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow export, after which it may be deleted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
